The Forum comprised a group of senior executives from diverse organisations who met four times per year to acquire and share knowledge, thinking skills, tools and alternative perspectives on innovation.  The group grew by word of mouth.  Stephen Reid chaired meetings and our shared aim was to facilitate the exchange of information on innovation.  Our meetings created a platform on which we could look at unusual opportunities.  For example we ran a large government and industry meeting about the innovations available in the communications arena. Lord Hunt, then parliamentary undersecretary for health, opened this particular meeting.

Membership was aimed at senior managers and their teams who had a direct influence on innovation with their organisations.   After 16 successful meetings the forum closed.
